This time around, I made a point of first installing the chipset driver which I downloaded from the official ASUS driver download page for my specific motherboard. I proceeded to format the system drive and re-install Windows XP again. so I was convinced that was the reason for the missing drivers.

The previous re-install resulted with the same 3 drivers missing. To be honest, this is actually the second consecutive re-install of Windows XP I've done this time around.
